WARNING!
WARNING! The reviews for the Verbatum DigitalMovie DVD-R discs have been very good. But
do note this: The package states (in very fine print), "Caution: Damage to hardware or
media/data could occure if this disc is used with some 1X/2X DVD-R drives." None of the
reviews I read, or the description, noted this fact. There seems to be no damage to my Sony
DVD/VCR recorder (model # RDR-VXD655). However, of the 25 discs in the package, I was
able to make just five recordings. After 23 to 24 seconds recording (it varied by disc) the
machine stopped recording and after about a minute the disc was ejected with the following
notice on the TV screen: "Since the disc has invalid information, no more title list can be
recorded." I tried to finalize the disc to see what was recorded, but received a notice the disc
could not be played or recorded. If you buy these discs, make sure you are burning them on a
computer and not on a stand-along machine. I know it is not a problem with my DVD/VCR
recorder as the Sony DVD-R discs have recorded perfectly with no errors and no "coasters" to
date (well, one of the recordings was bad, but it was not the fault of the Sony DVD-R, I just
made a mistake! I will use nothing but Sony DVD-R discs in this Sony machine from now on.

Most reliable disks. Unmatchable!
I have a DVD conversion business, converting 8mm, beta and vhs media to DVD. I've tried other brands, but find I waste time and disks (a lot of sector errors). These "movie" disks by Verbatim are the only ones I'll use. They're pricy, but reliable. I watch for specials and buy the limit! Hopefully they'll keep making them.

Verbatim DigitalMovie Discs Are Great.
I make Graduation Slideshow DVD's for my Grandchildren and Neices/Nephews, and they think the old time looking movie reel DVD's are neat. I like them because they record so well and I don't have to waste them like the cheaper brands. Don't ever quit carrying this product!

Verbatim film reel design is the bomb......
No drink coasters yet with these DVD's. For the film look video producer the film reel design is sweet.
