The quality of material is not as it had been before
all bands are too soft and quality of material is not there. I have bought 3 times already the bands from valeo, but next time I might look at some other manufacturers. blue is thin and almost no resistance, red is exactly as blue, yellow - just throw away. I still have my last bands and there is huge difference in quality of rubber and very thin if you compare old ones to new ones.

exercise bands
These 4' Valeo bands are too short for most exercises, I was not able to do most of the exercises in my Denise Austin book. 5.5' to 6' is a better length

Great exercise item!
If you are weary of buying such a product for home exercise you shouldn't be. These bands can be used for rehabilitative purposes as well as exercise in general.
--If you're a petite female, I think you'll be able to exercise with the light band, while using the stronger ones to help strecthing. This is only based on assumption using myself and mywife.
--The beauty of these products is that you can increase and decrease the resistance by how short you make the band when you hold it...adjusting as you go.
--On to search for some heavier resistance bands :)

Too short
I'm 5' 6". They are too short for me. I could have used about 12" longer products.

Valeo Stretch Bands
I use Linda Sansone's Walk Away the Pounds exercise program and she uses stretch bands. I was disappointed that these were so short! They're usable, but just barely. Oh well. If I lose the weight I hope to lose, they should be about right in length sometime next year.
