pretty good
This product is decent. The Bass is amazing, which is expected considering the name. It is by far the fullest and most rich bass i've heard on earphones.
My only criticism is that there is so much emphasis on strong base that the higher frequencies sounds shallow and weak.
I listen to a lot of talk radio via podcasts and the silicone buds fit very tightly and comfortably. The bass, in this instance, makes the voices on talk radio clearer and more full. Overall, great product for the price

Great...for about 4 months, then its time to buy a new pair!
Short version:
Pros: sound quality, price (good bang for the buck)
Cons: don't last long (both pairs broke after 4-5 months)
-Not worth the money!!!!
I have now purchased two sets of these headphones. I read reviews on CNET and here before deciding to purchase these. When I first received them, I was very pleased. The sound quality was much better than my previous pair (cheap Sony ones) and the medium ear piece fit well and was quite comfortable. However after about 4 months of using them, the right earphone quit working. I looked into getting them replaced by the manufacturer, but after paying having to pay for shipping both ways, it was hardly cheaper than buying a new pair and I didn't want to wait 4-6 weeks to get them back. So I decided to bite the bullet and buy a new pair since I was very satisfied with them up to the point they quit working. I figured maybe I broke them by pulling on the cord to pull my iPod (square Nano) out of my pocket. My second pair of headphones just broke with the same problem-the right earphone shorted out and I only get sound from the left one now. I was careful to always grab my iPod in order to get it out of my pocket (rather than pulling it by the headphone cord). I AM NOW DONE WITH THIS COMPANY AND THEIR CRAPPY HEADPHONES!! I have never reviewed any product online but I was so upset when the second pair broke I got online immediately and reviewed this product.
SAVE YOURSELF THE MONEY AND THE HASSLE OF BEING WITHOUT HEADPHONES-DON'T BUY THESE!!!!

Bass... after tweaking the equalizer
At first I didn't know how this product could receive the Cnet Editor's Choice award. I got these headphones from Amazon today and JUST tried them out. Without adjusting the equalizer on my mp3 player or my PC's media player, the bass was practically nonexistent, and the bass claims were the reason I bought them. Other than that, the sounds were clear but there was a LOT of (maybe too much) treble, which bothers my left ear. I thought maybe the ones I got were faulty, because my old cheap over-the-head Aiwa headphones had a richer sound with the same player settings. THEN... I adjusted additional settings on the PC media and mp3 player and VOILA! Deep bass on the PC, and less treble on the mp3 player. I didn't like the fact that I had to change the settings on my mp3 player to get non-ear-stabbing sound (now when I plug the mp3 player up to my desk or car speakers, i might have to change the settings again). But otherwise, the V-moda earphones work pretty well.

Good quality for a good price
I bought these as a gift for my girlfriend a little while back, and she loves them. She loves the color (which I guess is something girls tend to care more about than guys) and I don't know how many other brands of this quality sell pink earbuds. They sound great too. They get great bass and a decent amount of noise isolation (I think that's the correct term for these). While the sound quality may not be quite as good as a nice pair of Shure's, it's almost comparable (while the price is certainly much sweeter).

great sound poor quality
Got these in May with pepsi points and today one side doesn't work. When they did work they were the best sounding earphones I've had. the earphone when not in use were put in the closet with the wire hanging down so the wire was never tangled no reason for them to break. if it wasn't for getting these through the pepsi points I would be alot madder than I am now.
