Rating: - Works like a charm
This USB business card scanner is a small gem. This was the least expensive unit I found, so I decided to give it a try. I wanted to scan vendor's business cards, patient's driver's licenses, and their insurance cards. All of the above scanned easily and the OCR worked perfectly.

The included database software is great, saving the derived information in a formatable data base along with the image, with the option of saving both sides of a card. The user can also export to many different programs. I expect this scanner to make life a lot easier in my office. I just wish I had already had it for years! In addition, Windmill Trading, the vendor, was great. Richard answered my questions on the phone, and I received the item in less than 2 days.

One careat: If you're planning to scan credit cards, forget it.

Don't waste your money! Getting it configured and set up is a joke. If you get this far, it will only pull through very thin cards, so you only get to scan about half of the ones you need to. The cards that it does pull through slip a little, and the images are completely distorted.
