OK if you have to mount on three wall studs
If you have a large, heavy plasma TV and you need to span three 18" centered wall studs, this is one of your very few choices in the $100-$200 range. It took ordering three different wall mounts before I found this one because the specs on Amazon (and other sites for that matter) are either confusing or flat-out wrong. Most of the time when they give you dimensions, it's the size of the carton that they give rather than the size of the mounting bracket itself. I even contacted a real person at Amazon for the info on my second try and she was just as wrong as I was the first time. Why it's so hard for a company to add a couple of inches to a wall bracket mystifies me, but there are hundreds of $100 mounts that go 30" and only one or two (like this one) that are longer. So, unless you want your $2000 TV dangling precariously 16" over from two studs in your wall, get one that spans more than 36" like this one. The major complaint I have on this particular unit is that the adjusting knob that is supposed to allow you to tilt the screen up or down a bit (handy for getting to cables and such after installation) is designed in such a way that the bracket's proximity to the wall prevents you from loosening it. So once you've got your behemoth screen in place, you're stuck with whatever angle you've set it at. Over all, though, it's a sturdy mount with one main problem, and if you're willing to live with that design flaw--go for it.

Good, sturdy economical mount
Used this mount to hang my 50" Samsung plasma above my fireplace. The directions were easy to follow and its ability to mount to 3 studs give it a very sturdy feel.
My only caution is if you have your power outlet and or HDMI wallplates where the mount will sit on the wall, it doesn't give any clearance for these. There are square holes on the back, but your wallplates better match up *exactly* for them to work. I was lucky and was able to jury-rig it up there, but I would highly recommend you place your outlets below the mount if you have that luxury.

Very Solid
I used this for a 50" Samsung plasma on the wall, this thing is solid. I have purchased a different model from someplace else and wall mount was too short to span across 3 studs, this one solved that problem. It's still not long enough that you would ever see the bracket . The tilt feature is great too.

Excellent value
Easy to install, fastens to three studs (16" centers), comes with a vast quantity of hardware, great instructions, and will hold just about any TV. I bet my 52" Samsung will still be on the wall when the only thing left are roaches! Well worth the few more dollars than the smaller mounts.
BTW: downstairs I used the Sanus VMDD26B Universal Articulating mount for my 52" Sony... in comparison, it costs 4-times as much, had less hardware, weighs 3-times as much, and the instructions are less-than-easy to follow... mostly pictograms with few words. It does allow more movement which I needed.

Great product!
I ordered a Sanus 32-50" wall mount for my 50" Samsung plasma, but due to the 24" spacing between studs in my wall, and the large width between bracket holes on the back of my tv, I couldn't mount it without my TV being off center horizontally on my wall.
I then looked for a wider mount, and found the Peerless ST670P. It was wide enough to still grab two studs, and accomodate the greater bracket width of my tv, and the end result is my plasma perfectly centered on my wall. Installation is very simple and straightforward - you really do need a stud finder and level. It comes with all the bolts you need, and where the Sanus came with M8 bolts that were too long that I would have had to cut to fit my tv, the Peerless model came with 3 different lengths of M8 bolts, so the bracket installation into my TV was perfect.
Quality construction. I really recommend this product, and will be buying another when I get another plasma one day!
