Rating: - Scanner great for a church
I purchased the scanner for a church. Not only was it helpful for having a radio to be informed about local events, but the weather radio was very useful when bad weather aproached, and we needed to turn off our computers. The scanner was just plain fun and interesting...maybe a little disturbing at times. I would highly recommend this to anyone, especially a business, because this is an old church and built of thick concrete walls and radios don't usually work here, but this one does. Good product, easy to use!

Rating: - Uniden 100 Channel Scanner
I had an old Radio Shack Scanner.but it nevr wore just right.it would cut out on calls.and after a while it wouldn't pick up certain channels.
The Uniden is 100% better.I sat down with the book and in a hafl an hour I had loaded all the Channesl. b ut let me sat this first .
order the police Scanner book , it takes a little while to understank,but if I chould do it any can. it will give you code and more in formation to understand what you are hearing .like 1097/code 4/1020 and much more.
