I have a 40D Canon that we were going to be taking on a trip to Chicago and I wanted to make sure I had enough batteries to last for all day of shooting RAW photos so I ordered another. This is the second Ultralast battery I have purchased and both last just as long as the original battery that came with the camera. I was definitely recommend this battery to anyone.

Rating: - This batery works great for my Canon 40D
I bought this battery as a spare for my Canon 40D, I do weddings and other especial events, I was not to confident that this battery would do the job, but... It is great, I was able to take around 400 RAW pictures and it didn't die on me. It still had juice left but I change it as a precaution. I really recommend this product.

Rating: - Better then I hoped
I purchased this semi skeptical of how long it would last. Figuring the price was good to test it out. Thus far I have been pleasantly surprised. I have only charged it once (in about 2 or 3 weeks) and it still has full battery, I have taken several hundred pictures in that time. I have no complaints honestly. And I will certainly purchase more in the future. I use them in my Canon 10d

Rating: - Not quite there
The specifications claim to have capasity bigger than the original OEM battery however I was able to take 600 pictures on the fully charged battery. For comparison 'smaller' OEM battery gives me more than a thousand. I will keep it in a bag for a while as an emergency power supply but this is not an equal replacement for the genuine Canon battery.

Rating: - The best deal for BP-511 batteries
At the price I paid I had second thoughts about buying these batteries. I got a used Canon 10D and the batteries that came with it (Canon BP-511A's) would only last about 100 shots. I'm usually apprehensive about buying non-Canon parts, especially lenses, but I went ahead and tried two of these and I'm extremely satisfied. For one thing, the batteries I got are 2000 mAh. The Canon BP-511A's I replaced are only 1390 mAh, so you're getting more power at a very reduced cost. Shipping was fast too. Highly recommended!
