This limited edition collectible U2 Deluxe Edition boxset is handsomely constructed in a sturdy hardbound shell, measuring 5 3/4' (width) x 2 3/4' (spine width) x 5 7/16' (tall) and comes with the newly remastered and expanded 2 CD deluxe editions of the bands first three albums BOY, OCTOBER and WAR, plus room for a fourth (not included). Re-mastered from the original audio tapes, each deluxe includes a disc of b-sides, live tracks and rarities, and the packaging on all three titles has been restored and expanded, with new liner notes for each record, previously unseen photos and full lyrics.

This set also comes with a limited edition, exclusive 18'x24' full color replica poster from the bands beginnings, recreated just for this boxset.

U2’s first three albums--Boy, October, and War--receive star treatment with these re-mastered versions, just as their legendary The Joshua Tree record did last year. Every album includes a second disc of b-side remixes, live versions, and rare performances that die-hard fans of the Irish band will surely appreciate. This box set is such an incredible lookback to u2 early's that shows since the start (out of control, boy/girl like hard sound) to the progression and almost integrity as a rock band with War.
I recomended this box set to anyone because has a complete setlisting of B-sides, demos, and live recordings from this era, besides, the package plus the poster are really good stuff! thanxs Amazon!

If you are a really U2 fan, this is for you, if don't go to any regular music store and buy the regular album. What you can find here is awesome different versions and sounds never heard before plus unreleased songs impossible to find in the past... just to give you a hint, the single record LP U2 3 was on sale on ebay a couple of years ago fo 350 Euros and now you have these songs right here with better sound... just Awesome

I was not going to buy these for $30 a pop at my local record store...but a boxed set for the price of 2? Count me in. The box is great and holds the three double disc sets PLUS the new Live 2 disc set. It LOOKS like it was a fortune.
