Rating: - Tresor - true techno!
What better way to document the history of one of techno's cornerstone labels, Tresor, than this perfect 3 CD boxset? Tresor, the label and club, was the original headquarters for the legendary club, UFO, and since 1991, has been known as Tresor - home to a bunch of fantastic Berlin DJs and producers, plus some of the best from Detroit like Jeff Mills, Eddie Fowlkes, Robert Hood, and Juan Atkins. Nowadays, you got guys like Joey Beltram, Neil Landstrumm, Surgeon, James Ruskin, Christian Vogel, and Fumiya Tanaka, so you know, the party ain't over yet! The boxset also includes an extensive history of Tresor's 11 years of existence and background info on the songs. If you are a fan of techno, you've got to have this. Don't download off the net. Buy this and get the booklet 'cuz Tresor is about more than just music. It's a scene, a club, and a state of mind, more punk than raver.
