Not too good, not too bad
I needed few GB of space for traveling and transfering.
This was very good price for it's memory capacity.
This also has sliding out mechenism which makes it simple...never lose cap.
I am not sure about speed. Some files copy fast, some takes long long time and I think it has to do with my computer and file type rather than flash drive speed.
It is bigger than I thought. (even with sliding part)I wish it was smaller.
Design is not bad...very simple and clean.
Overall product looks cheap (because it is cheap), plastics are low quality and it feels fragile when I use it.
So I have to be careful, if I want this product to last long time.
It is good product, considering its price. But on next purchase, I might pay little more to get better built quality

works great for quick file storage between home school
i love this flash drive. had it for about 6 months now, and it is going strong with everyday use of at least 5 times a day. osx and vista machines.
the handy no-cap design ensures you wont lose the cap. i have dropped this 2 feet on a concrete floor, and it still works! i am impressed.
the read speeds for this flash drive are wonderful and where they need to be with all the other drives of this size. the only downside would be the write speeds, but they are not terrible. at the most i have to wait a couple minutes for 600 mb. that is more than fast enough for school projects, and loading mp3's/photos/movies.

very light. hope my nephew doesn't lose it. love the fact that instead of using a cover the metal port connector retractable-dont recall seing that in the info about it.

Can't beat it for the price
It looks flimsy, but it does the job. Definitively not a high end product. It is small and the connector is retractable. I use it to transfer files between my computers and it has served me well. It comes with software that looks interesting. I did not install it. Can't beat it for the price. I recommend it.

Won't work, no support
I purchased JetFlash V10, 4gb about a month and a half ago. It has simply never worked. Transcend will not honor the "Lifetime" warrantee (they actually will not even return my emails or faxes). The Amazon seller will not take the item back, it was just a waste of money. I will never buy a Transcend product again.
