I love this Laptop!
My last laptop was a a Toshiba Satellite, from about 4 years ago. I loved everything about it, except one minor flaw, that year's model was known to have, so when I went to purchase a new one, I was brand loyal. I stuck with the 17" screen as well, because I love to game and every so often I watch a DVD on it. The sound system is incredible on this. I love the way the keys feel. That might sound funny, but they are nice. As well, one change I appreciate is the number pad built into the keyboard to the side, like any full sized keyboard you use with a desk top computer. It was hard for me to get used to not having that on my other laptop and I am glad to have it back, because I use it a lot for business purposes. I LOVE the Vista. I have had no problems getting used to it. It is a smooth operating system. I was a bit worried about software compatibility and the 64 bit system, but so far have had no problems. I don't much care fore the placement of the earphone jack hole, and the volume adjustment wheel. It used to be on the side, but now they are in front where you can't see them without straining your neck, but that isn't enough of a problem to affect my giving this a 5 rating. This laptop is also nice and cool, as well as quiet. I do keep it on a wire grate laptop standLaptop Stand/Holder, Wire Mesh, Black/Silver for ventilation, and would recommend all laptop users do the same to extend the life of their computers. I have never seen a computer start up and shut down as fast as this one. Also, I had to call the customer service, because I had a question, and they were great! I love this laptop, and recommend it to everyone- especially for the unbeatable price.

This Laptop Rocks!
I would say the features on this laptop are very robust, and the Sound quality from the speakers on it will beat any other laptop out there you have listened too. The Toshiba Laptop is a great platform and that has been well put together and well thought out. The only con I can say is the lack of Bluetooth, and if you use a Bluetooth adapter you have used Toshiba's or install a bear version of windows Vista that is not Toshiba's version. Because of licensing issues looks like. If you do install a 3rd party blue tooth the Bluetooth will stop to function after 30 days. Other then that this laptop rocks!!

It is great product. I am using in Africa.But I am not able to use aero feature of Vista Home Premium. Rest is fine
It is nice product of this value.I am using this in Africa. Nice finishing,complete key button and 4GB Ram.
Only cons is aero is not working on this system.

You do the math....
Let's see, for around $1K, you get a 17 inch screen, 4 GB Memory, 320 GB hard drive. And the speakers on this thing will blow you away. Highly recommended. This is my second Toshiba laptop. I hope this one works as well as my first. I never had a problem with it in four years.
Did I mention the speakers on this thing are amazingly good?
