Customer Reviews
Average Rating: out of 5 stars

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Need speakers!
the only think is IT NEED SPEAKERS, the volume very low. But everything is great!!

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Not bad for something that would be rarely watched
This is an OK set, but the tuning is slow. If you are a cable or sattelite user and leave it sit on the same channel/input, then this will not be a problem. The audio is OK. Picture quality is OK as well. Nothing like the picture/sound quality of some of the more noted brands like Sony or Samsung, but if you get it for a good price, then it maybe a nice TV for your get-away hous, a child's, guest room, etc. I just wouldn't recommend it if you wanted to watch it as your primary TV.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - great second (or 3rd or 4th) TV
I love this TV. It looks very nice in my small bedroom and it is wonderful having the built-in DVD player. This was the only white 19" LCD with DVD player available, ANYWHERE. The only downside to the TV is the lag time between channel changes. That was tough at first, but I'm getting used to it.
The Toshiba box was tight and strong and thank goodness. Amazon packed it in a box 2 times the size of the TV box without any packing material and it was loose. Also, the Amazon box was broken in 2 places. I guess free shipping means shoddy shipping materials.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Excellent picture. Bad Audio. No DVD-presence indicator
Positives:
Yes excellent picture quality even for DVD viewing.
HDTV ATSC tuner is good to receive free HD programs over the air (you will need an UHF/HD antenna)

Negatives:
Too low audio.
No indicator that there was already a DVD inside. By mistake, you could put many DVDs inside and everything got stuck. However, it is not difficult to open the drive and pulled them out.

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Toshiba 19LV505 - Poor Audio
The picture is good, the DVD player is a nice feature (especially with kids) but the sound is horrible. We have it in our basement where we run on a treadmill and, with the treadmill going, you can't hear any sound (even with the volume at its maximum level).
