Life in the Big Harbor community is constantly changing and, whatever the new day brings, Theodore Tugboat and his many floating friends find preschool fun and life-learning lessons! These fun-filled adventures are hosted by the Harbor Master and center around Theodore, a stout-hearted tugboat found in the magical Big Harbor. In each episode, Theodore and his fellow tugboats Emily, Foduck, Hank, and George encounter various tasks and help teach children important values such as cooperation, sharing, appreciation for community, and how to get along with others.

Theodore's Friendly Adventures--contains three episodes on harbor adventures: 'Theodore and the Unsafe Ship,' 'A Joke Too Far,' 'Hank and the Sunken Ship.' 45 minutes.

Rating: - Perfect for Preschoolers!
My four year old nephew is positively enamored by Theodore and all of his friends in the Big Harbor! Each gentle story presents a simple dilemma which, when solved, teaches a valuable life lesson. The dialogue in the stories is beautifully narrated with excellent expression by Denny Doherty, the Harbor Master. The story settings are also nicely done, with the tugs splashing in the ocean, the buoys bobbing merrily, and the sky changing colors as the day wears on. These are a refreshing alternative to the loud, violent cartoons inundating our children today!

Rating: - Theadore is on his way back to Amazon
I purchased this video for my child and found it absolutely awful. At least in Thomas the tank engine you get a little bit of a better story, for example, Theadore and his friends are too friendly to each other. At least in Thomas they at least the Frieght Cars torment the engines a bit. I recommend you do not buy this video.

Rating: - Perfect for young children
My son loves to watch both the Theodore tapes and the Thomas the Tank Engine. Although I do let him watch both I much prefer him watching Theodore. The shows try to teach a positive leason. The tugboats are not mean to each other like the engines and cars in the Thomas videos. I highly recommend these videos.
