Editorial Review:
Product Description: This set contains music Stan Kenton intended to record in the studio, but somehow in between tours and one night stands he never got around to it, consequently it was down to individuals who made high quality private recordings of his concerts, thus saving for posterity music that would have been lost. All of the numbers on this double CD set are instrumentals, although there are several versions of some of these tracks which had vocals added such as Winter In Madrid which was also recorded with Stans then wife, Anne Richards. Included in the set is the track Pepperpot which was written for Art Pepper (hence the title) and includes the inimitable Pepper performing.

Rating: - Stan Kenton Mess
This is the worst CD I've ever heard. Terrible recording quality. Not the best Kenton band personnel on many of the tracks. A total mess. I can't even give it one star. Consider it a minus one.
