A disappointment
As much as I love Dr. Phil and implement his advice and strategies, I was so excited when he announced this book in his show. I could very much relate to the woman who was beyond stressed out due to the economy and the impact it was having in her household. I immediately ordered this book to quickly not feel the way I was feeling and to get help on how to deal with this horrible period when it was beyond my control. I have listened to the first 9 chapters (audio cd) and so far all I have gotten out of it is how your brain works and to put on music when you are feeling anxious or worried. I could care less how the brain works and all the technical names for what is going on just give me the strategies that Dr. Phil gives. I am hugely disappointed and am trying very hard to listen to the remainder just in case it finally tells me something I can use!
