Editorial Review:Product Description:The PowerScore LSAT Logic Games Bible is the most comprehensive book available for the Logic Games section of the LSAT. The intent of this book is to provide you with an advanced system for attacking any game you encounter on the LSAT. This same system is covered in the live classes taught by PowerScore, and all of the methods and techniques discussed in the book have been tested in classroom situations over many years.
The book features and explains a detailed methodology for attacking the games section. All aspects of Logic Games are covered, from recognizing game types to diagramming rules to making inferences and answering questions. Entire chapters are devoted to the most advanced game techniques and to time management strategies.
Logic Games are divided into individual types, and a discussion follows that teaches you how to approach each type of Game, and drills are presented to help you apply and understand the techniques. Thereafter, real LSAT logic games are used to illustrate how the techniques apply to real tests. Using real LSAT questions is a must for high-level LSAT preparation, and twenty-one real LSAT logic games are contained in the book. Each logic game is accompanied by a detailed analysis of the game setup and related questions.
The author has over 12 years experience teaching the LSAT and has scored in the 99th percentile on a Law Services-administered test. An expert in LSAT preparation, he has overseen the preparation of thousands of students and founded two national LSAT preparation companies.
The Logic Games Bible can be supplemented by The Ultimate Set-Ups Guide, which features setups for every game in each released LSAT from 1995 to 2002. Also, both books provide access to a unique website for additional LSAT and Logic Games information, and has answers to frequently asked questions.

Great book, blows everything else out of the water
I first began preparing for the LSAT in December 2008 by taking a 6 week course offered by Kaplan for $1299. Upon completing this class, I took the February 2009 LSAT and I did horrible, particularly on the games - I finished the first two, and was stumped on the last two. I'm thoroughly convinced that my poor performance in the games accounted for my 150, so when I began studying once again, I knew that I'd have to target the games section. I bought this book after reading the VERY helpful reviews on this website and others, and after the first chapter, I knew that this book would be the best $64.99 I had ever spent.
I was right! This book helped me set up the games in the most clear and concise ways that seemed so much more intuitive and simpler than what Kaplan told me to do. I'm convinced that had I used these methods on the games in February, I would have been able to solve the last two games without a hitch and been totally fine. Now, I'm taking timed tests and ANNIHILATING the games sections - a minimum of 20 questions correct.
I'm also getting the questions done a lot faster, and I think that has to do with the way that PowerScore has you diagram the rules. The diagrams are very clear and do not confuse me, whereas the Kaplan methods called for charts and grids that just confused the heck out of me. These clear diagrams help me deduce the correct answers MUCH more quickly and I'm able to fly through the easier questions to spend a little more time on the tougher ones.
Overall, great investment. If games isn't your favorite section now, then after completing this book, you'll wish the whole test was nothing but games!

GREAT
I purchasead this book because other bloggers said it was better than the Kaplan set...and I have to agree...I originally purchased the Kaplan book and used it a little...this book really IS better and DEFINITLY worth the money. It Introduces all the ideas at a slow pace and gradually scaffold on top of each old idea to introduce the "new" one. With each step, it does not assume you know anything and breaks it down in great detail. then it starts you off slow with a drill to test your ability to SET UP the question, without the pressure of having to deal with the questions just yet...they let you tackle one thing at a time. Then they move onto a full example that actually comes from an actual LSAT.
Overall, I really feel as though this is a GREAT book, and would certainly recommend it to anyone looking to prepare themselves for the LSAT.

Excellent
I immediately ordered this book after working through the Kaplan's Logic Games workbook for a bit. I just the Powerscore one today and I can already say that it's a lot better than the Kaplan book. The Kaplan book had many editing errors (primarily mixed up answers), which made it very confusing to someone who is just starting to study for the LSAT. The explanations and strategies were somewhat hard to understand as well. I also feel that it doesn't provide enough practice problems so that you know you entirely grasp the concepts.
The Powerscore book, on the other hand, has really clear explanations. I really like that it gives you literally step by step practice on solving the logic games. It's also more detailed than the Kaplan book, and there are notes at the margins, which I thought were really helpful. It gives you small hints here and there on what to look out for while solving the games. I also like that the book is "honest," meaning it pretty much says "If you don't do this, then you won't get the question" and it also encourages you to read each and every explanation for the correct and incorrect answers.

Added 5 points to my score
I highly recommend this book.
I've been studying for the LSAT and so far I've taken three practice tests. I took one about a year ago, I took one two weeks ago right before starting this book, and I took one a few days ago after reading through to chapter 8 in this book.
I found the book entertaining and was actually able to sit down and study it fully and for longer amounts of time (something that is a rare occurrence for me). I actually found myself wanting to read this book and study for the LSAT instead of doing my regular homework. It's a very good motivator.
Regarding my score increase:
I got a 158 on the practice test last year. I got a 158 on the practice test I took before reading this book. I got a 163 on the practice test I took after chapter 7.
Of only the test I took before reading this book and after reading most of this book:
The first test: I got 9 out of 24 logic game questions right (about 37.5%)
The second test: I got 16 out of 24 logic game questions right (about 66.7%)
I think I should also mention that before this book I ran out of time before getting to seven of the questions. After this book I had extra time on the section (but I didn't go back through and check my answers. I may have increased my score further had I done so).
I plan to continue on with some of the other PowerScore books, staring with the Logical Reasoning Bible. I also highly recommend using this book in conjunction with the LSAC prep test books (the practice tests that I took immediately before this book and during/after this book were LSAC tests. The test I took last year was a Kaplan test).
