I live in Italy and have a small child so I would never have time to collect all these things and put them together in a basket AND get to the post office to send them, so..... this was a great way to help out and tickle the fancy of a friend who was having a hard time and I had hoped she could use the products to quickly whip up an Italian meal or two for her family. My daughter sent me this gift basket for Mother's Day last year. I was really surprised and the presentation was beautiful. The food in the basket is actually "quality" food that I used in my cooking. So often the products in a gift basket look wonderful until you actually remove them from the basket.
