Fill In Camera
My Canon PowerShot S50 developed a twitchy on and off syndrome and finally stopped working altogether while on vacation in Germany so I looked at what I could get for about 150 Euros and ended up picking the Samsung L100 with 2 GB RAM. It had image stabilization, more megapixels (8.1) and a percieved quality about it that attracted me, although I didn't know that I could have gotten it for much less here. I am embarrassed to admit that I had to go back to the store for them to show me how to use the self timer, because the quick start manual didn't show how and I couldn't figure it out myself. All I had to do was to press the multi control button right side repeatedly until the timer icon comes up and by pressing the right side of that button repeatedly you select the 2 or 10 second option. Then postion the camera and hit the trigger button and it works fine, with little flashes of light telling you when to get ready by increasing in frequency until it shoots a picture. It has a fairly advanced red eye protection system that works well. I am happy I bought it because the other options available were for more money or for less features at that price. The pictures it takes are very nice.Samsung L100 8.1MP Digital Camera with 3x Optical Zoom (Silver)
