Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Good Camera for the amature photographer
Overall I am happy with this camera. Some picture have come out blurry but the colors are good, zoom is amazing, and it's small enough to fit in a coin purse. I would recommend it, Olympus builds a good camera.

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - A shade worse than FE-230
I own an Olympus FE-230 which I recently gave away to my folks for taking pics of my baby niece.
The FE-230 is light, sleek and extremely nice with the picture quality.I got hooked onto Olympus with this camera and decided to try the FE-340 which,as the model number suggests is a more evolved variety--or so I thought!It is far bulkier and heavier which is a HUGE negative for me.Most importantly, in no-flash mode, the camera does not adjust for low light and in fact the pictures come much darker than the actual light of the surroundings!I am not sure if there is sophisticated workaround (which beats the purpose of a point and shoot,of course) to this low light outcome.
I wont say I am thrilled with this heavier and wider cousin of the FE-230.I'll suggest checking other varieties like the Nikon coolpix before deciding on this one.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - wonderful
this product is easy to use and the software was easy to install and use though i have not printed any pictures it looks like they will be easy to print. reviewing the picures is great! i have told friends that are looking to purchace a new camera that this is the camera to get.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Nice little camera, not great, but not bad
The Olympus FE-340 provides a respectable 8 megapixels of resolution with acceptable levels of performance across the board. If you are looking for a well built, slim, entry-level camera that's easy to use, the FE-340 makes a good choice. However, the average image quality and smeared flash photos make this camera fall short of perfection. There are a lot of good things about the camera - easy-to-use interface, stylish build, great colors, and a good lens with a little more range than is the norm at this price point. Unfortunately, you'll have to accept the good with the bad, which means soft details, aggressive NR in high-ISO performance, and average battery life.

Pros:

* Solid metal body with nice styling
* Plenty of resolution in LCD
* Nice lens
* Easy to use

Cons:

* Average image quality
* Average overall performance
* Smeared flash shots, and noise/noise reduction in general

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Olympus FE 340
We have always liked Olympus Cameras we tried a different brand and was just disappointed. We love the body style of the FE340 and how easy it is to use. The quality of the pictures are great this camera will not disappoint any one that would buy and use it and the price was great...
The 8MP is more than enough. The Zoom features are fantastic.. Enjoy if you buy it..

Intel's Core 2 Duo E6700 offers the best price-to-performance ratio we've seen in a desktop chip. For half the cost of AMD's top-of-the-line chip, you get identical if not superior performance and better power efficiency. AMD surprised us last year with its completely dominant dual-core chips, but Intel regains the crown with Core 2 Duo.

India expects to see rough diamond supplies fall by up to a fourth after the Diamond Trading Co (DTC), the distribution arm of De Beers, cuts down on Indian clients, an industry body said on Wednesday.
