Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - The Oprah Magazine
Such a good offer, that I ordered the Oprah Magazine for my wife, but I'm finding a lot of good things that I want to read, too. I'm pleasantly surprised there is so much of such high quality in a "woman's" magazine.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - O, Oprah magazine
Absolutely the best price I've seen anywhere - $24 for 2 years ($12 for a year). Much more affordable than the magazine publisher offers! ~ Jan

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Only Magazine I feel is worth Reading
I have scanned and read a few magazines and have never found them useful in my life in any way at all. The O magazine has brought to me a world of things to think about and ponder on no matter my opinion. I am disabled and do not get to hear much about what is going on in the world that is meaningful (the news is rarely meaningful it is very sad. I know I get pretty far behind at time, but once I start reading I read one magazine a day until I find I have read 10 before I know it. The pages are easy too as you do not have to do a lot of flipping back and forth to find the end of the article. This means a lot to people with hand disabilities. I know there is some of this at the end, but most magazines have this all the way through. This magazine is very well thought out and it quenches your soul. I thank God for this magazine every time I sit down to read it. It always makes me look at something in a different way whether it be good or bad. I may not always agree with the author of the article, but regardless it makes me think about the topic at hand. It brings knowledge of things going on in the world that really need our attention.
I do have to say that one thing I loved about this magazine when I first started getting it (3 years ago) it did not have near as many ads in it as it does now. Most magazines you pick up that is all that is in there with maybe 10 articles. I have to say that O still offers more articles than the typical magazine, but I do notice there are less articles in it now than before. This is my only disappointment in this magazine at all. Another thing that would be AWESOME would be if this magazine was available on amazon kindle!! I read with this device a majority of the time as it is much easier for me to hold than a book or a magazine considering my disability. This way I would have it with me all the time too so I would be likely to read more than I do now. Otherwise keep them coming.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - TELL YOUR SNOBBY FRIENDS THEY DON'T KNOW WHAT THEY'RE TALKING ABOUT!
I have friends who tease me because I subscribe to what they would call a middle-class housewives' magazine! First of all, nothing wrong with being a middle class housewife! Secondly, this magazine is so much better than the class of magazines they're assuming it belongs to. Oprah gets great writers--fiction writers, poets, thinkers, intellectuals, to write for her magazine. Every month there is something that I rip from the pages to keep before I pass the magazine on to the recycle bin. This magazine does NOT share lame, obvious tips about keeping your counter tops white or trash cans smelling like lilacs. And you don't need to hide it from your ten-year old to keep her from reading tips on handling "your guy's package," or whether or not you should wax yourself into a landing strip for some hot jet you meet at a bar. It actually thinks about things--relationships, politics, health, impoverished nations, literature--and addresses them in a serious, high-minded, smart way. Sure, there's stuff in there about picking out the right pair of jeans for your oversized or undersized butt. It's fluffy filler and I flip right past it as there is plenty of stimulating, interesting writing in Oprah.

(2-year) Magazine Oprah The O,
