Not So Great -- No Image Stabilization = Blurred Shots Too Often
I purchased the Nikon Coolpix S6 camera from Beach Camera by way of Amazon. After quite a bit of research, I settled upon this as a gift for my girlfriend. She was thrilled at first, but that soon wore off after our first outing. She'd mentioned the blurry snaps; I assumed she'd simply neglected to read the manual. However, after I read the manual then set the camera up to reduce the blurred images, I too got a substantial number of bad shots -- upwards of 50%. I also found it too small to handle and was constantly in fear of dropping it. This camera simply isn't for someone looking a simple point-and-shooter. That's what we both wanted and expected. We tried and tried to like the camera, but it just wasn't going to happen. This is the last time I buy a camera without image stabilization.
Our only positive experience was with Amazon and especially Charles at Beach Camera. Even though it was long past the date, Charles understood our concern and agreed to accept it as a return. I have to say that without a doubt Beach Camera is my first choice for anything they sell, even if I might get the same item a tiny bit cheaper elsewhere. Frankly, I haven't experience customer service this good from anyone, anywhere, at any time.

good one, but not that small
it is not as thin as the sony one, but the effect is nice. I like the color and the shipment is quick!
