Shake Away/Ojo de Culebra

by: Lila Downs

:Album Description:Exploring and expressing Mexico's rich culture has been a lifelong passion for vocalist Lila Downs. With a voice that is varied in color and range, Lila cuts a striking figure live as well - she embodies the spirit of her music with an emotion-drenched physicality. Lila's profile was raised significantly with her stunning performance in the hit film Frida, starring Salma Hayek in the title role. Lila also performed the Oscar-nominated song from the film at the Academy Awards ceremony, becoming the first Latina ...

It's Time

by: Michael Bublé

: :Michael Bublé's assured debut and the tireless year of globe-trotting touring he spent promoting it elevated the 20-something Vancouver native into the first rank of pop crooner revivalists. His sophomore studio follow-up largely turns on the same formula that helped make his considerable vocal prowess so attractive to mainstream audiences, mixing the nigh flawless, if expected Sinatra-channeling ('I've Got You Under My Skin') with more playful and inviting renditions of pop standards like the Gershwin's 'A Foggy Day in London Town,' 'Feeling Good,' 'Try A ...

Live from Texas

starring: ZZ Top

:Description:ZZ Top, the 'little ol' band from Texas', has enjoyed enormous success on a global scale since their breakthrough in the early seventies and then their groundbreaking albums in the mid-eighties. Now for the first time one of ZZ Top's legendary live performances has been filmed for simultaneous release on DVD & Blu-ray. The track listing spans their career from early tracks such as 'Waitin' For The Bus', 'Just Got Paid' and the classic 'La Grange', through their eighties blockbusters including 'Gimme All Your Lovin'' ...

Follow the Leader

by: Korn

:Album Description:First 12 tracks are blank...music begins on track 13. :Love 'em or despise 'em, you've got to give Korn props for kick-starting a new metal movement that blends aggressive hip-hop rhythms with roaring hate-metal riffs. In the wake of the band's 1994 debut, many like-minded groups cropped up, including Deftones, Snot, and Limp Bizkit. But with the release of Korn's disappointing 1996 sophomore effort, Life Is Peachy, the imitators seemed likely to usurp the innovators. Maybe that's why Follow the Leader is so crafty ...

Solo Acoustic, Vol. 2

by: Jackson Browne

: :A sequel to the 2005 Grammy nominated Vol. I. Twelve songs culled from Browne's extensive and critically acclaimed solo acoustic concerts around the world over the past few years. Like its predecessor, it captures both spirited and humorous exchanges between Jackson and his audiences, making for a truly intimate listening experience. It reaches back to his debut album and spans his entire career with highlights such as 'Never Stop', The Night Inside Me' and 'In The Shape Of A Heart'.

We Were Here

by: Joshua Radin

: :Contrary to what Garth Brooks once sang, it never hurts to have friends in high places. Though Joshua Radin is sure to have found his way without them, it can't have done much harm to have gone to college with actor/director Zach Braff and singer/songwriter Cary Brothers, two of his more supportive schoolmates. The connections led to several appearances on Scrubs (starting with the Brothers-produced 'Winter'), then on Grey's Anatomy ('These Photographs'), followed by a record deal with Columbia. On his major label debut, Radin evokes the sensitive folkies of the AM ...

Jonas Brothers

by: Jonas Brothers

: :\N :To parents, they're the new Hanson. To kids who've been tuning into Radio Disney and flipping the pages of Tiger Beat, they're geniuses. Jonas Brothers, the sophomore effort from the close-knit, close-up ready trio of New Jersey boys, is a mercilessly catchy collection of short but sweet punk- and emo-flavored confections. 'Goodnight and Goodbye' grabs hold with guitar-fueled urgency, 'Still in Love' borrows from old-school acts like KISS to build a slighter, kid-friendlier brand of classic rock, and 'Games' has a respectable go ...

Eye to the Telescope

by: KT Tunstall

: : KT Tunstall's debut album Eye To The Telescope is the creative consequence of her inquiring imagination. 'My songs examine and explore little specific emotions or situations or stories,' she explains. 'They're kitchen table songs, like a conversation between me and one other person. It's almost like an alien has been sent to get emotional samples from human beings and put it all together on a record.' Usually we're fans of Logitech's gaming mice, but its highest-end G9 Laser Mouse is expensive, overly complex, and lacks the ergonomic thought we've come to expect. If you like to brag about dot-per-inch limits, perhaps the G9's 3,200dpi laser will be enough to sell you, but for the price, we expect the design to match.

While compact and convenient, Panasonic's SD-based SDR-S150 camcorder doesn't make the quality cut.
