Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Pretty good coffee
This is pretty good coffee and comes in a pod which I was looking for. Their quality control wasn't very good though. Four of the 18 pods in one box were broken open, I guess by the machine that closes up the pod before putting it in the packet, and coffee was loose inside the packet. I would have complained but didn't intend to reorder so let it go.

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Weak
I expected this to be a nice strong brew but unfortunately it was a little weak for my tastes. I used one pod per 4oz using a Senseo machine and double-pod holder. It's a good value for the cost (bought on Amazon, pods per cost, good value compared to the competition) but only if you like your coffee a little on the weak side.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Great Coffee
I bought this not knowing if I would like it or not. Well this is a great blend. For me it was just the right flavor and blend that works all day long. I also like the individual packages so the pods stay fresher longer. These are well worth the price!!!

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - good coffee
I usually like a darker roast but this particular flavor and roast suits me just fine. I like Melitta java pods and pods are not that available - I also like the Melitta darker roasts.

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Decent coffee
Decent cup of coffee. Fits well into Senseo machine. I prefer the more expensive and more flavorful Black Mountain Gold Costa Rican. The one thing with BMGCR is that the pods contain more coffee, so they are a tight fit into the Senseo single pod holder. My 6+ year old Senseo machine sometimes pops open if I don't set the pod into it just right.

Another thing I have discovered about pod coffee after reading many reviews here and doing some experimenting of my own, the coffee tastes the absolute best if the pod is wetted with a few drops of water first (think old-fashioned percolaters/wet coffee grounds). And I never use the double-pod holder anymore. The coffee tastes much better brewed one pod at a time.

Sales of semiconductors in November indicate that consumer products such as LCD (liquid crystal display) TVs, digital music players, and other devices sold well during the holidays, the Semiconductor Industry Association (SIA) said Monday.

November chip sales rose 2.3 percent year-on-year to $23.1 billion, the SIA said.

Unit demand has far outpaced last year. But falling chip prices have hurt industry revenue, the chip association said. For example, DRAM (dynamic RAM) bit shipments grew 25 percent in the three months through mid-December, but average selling prices have declined 20 percent over the same period.

The association also noted that rising energy prices and concerns about the sub-prime lending issue in the U.S. do not appear to have had a significant impact on consumer spending for the holidays, the SIA said. The group reiterated its forecast that worldwide semiconductor sales will reach a new record in 2007. But it will take a stronger than expected December selling season to reach the 3.8 percent growth goal the group had forecast earlier this year, the SIA said.

Investment banking firm Credit Suisse was not as optimistic as the SIA.

The November data was below normal seasonal trends, noted analyst John Pitzer, in a report on Monday. Even if December reaches its normal seasonal growth, 2007 industry revenue will only reach $255.7 billion, up 3.2 percent over last year. The growth percentage would fall short of the SIA's 3.8 percent target.

The slow November prompted Credit Suisse to lower its 2008 chip industry revenue forecast to 9.4 percent year-on-year growth, down from a previous target of 13 percent.
