Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Supercomfortable, but ohhh - the odor !!
I purchased a pair of Crocs Mammoth shoes for my daughter and they are a disappointment. Our family loves Crocs and we all wear them, so I never gave it a second thought when purchasing these.

My daughter loves how comfortable and warm these shoes are and she wants to wear them daily. That's the good part.

The bad part has been the odor. When she first started wearing the shoes, it was not too cold yet and she did what she always did with Crocs...put them on without socks. BIG mistake. The shoes started to stink so bad that you could smell them while standing next to her. So, I went through the difficulty of pulling out the liner (as other reviews have said - it is a struggle) and following the care instructions. I washed them on cold and let them air dry. No results - still stinky. Next I washed them on warm and let them air dry - still no good. Last time...I washed them on the Sanitize cycle and let them air dry. This time the odor was gone. However, the nice fluffy look of the lining is now matted and the shoe fits larger since the volume of the lining is smaller. Additionally, the liner is starting to rip in a couple of places at the seam. I'm not sure if this is from the wash wear or from daily use, but I can tell this product won't hold up as well as I'd hoped.

Since sanitizing the liner, I have had my daughter always wear socks with these shoes. That seems to help quite a bit - so my advice is ALWAYS WEAR SOCKS WITH THESE SHOES.

Overall, I am disappointed that these shoes aren't as great as the Beach, Cayman, Cloud & Mary Jane styles that we have. I was willing to pay $40 for the Crocs Mammoth, but now I wish that I had spent less on a copycat version so I could replace them as needed this season.

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - mammoth pain to get lining back on
I'm a huge fan of crocs, they're the only shoe I can wear all day and still feel great.

I love the mammoth shoe for it's winter capabilities. The only downside is getting the liner off, and especially back on the shoe after washing.

However, I found that by cutting the liner inside around the 'button hole', making it bigger, less round and more like a shirt button hole, this helped immensely in getting the liner back on...

Hope this helps someone!

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - i love em!!!
ok, these were the first crocs i purchased. i got them for work while i was pregnant. greatest shoes ever!! i still wear them, its time for a new pair finally after wearing every single day for over a year. i work on my feet all day, literally standing the whole time. i tried wearing my older but lots of life left in them shoes 2 times and regretted it! went right back to my crocs!! they do run about a half size small b/c of the lining but it is advised anyway on the crocs site. i bought a couple other pairs and love them too, different styles.

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Buyer Beware: This Shoe Runs Small
I ordered these and was looking forward to a fall/winter version of my favorite summer shoe. These do, however, run small. I ordered my usual size but had to return them. I hope the next ones will fit.

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Fairly Satisfied
I love the idea of these Crocs! Be aware that the shoes run small (because of the lining, I suppose). I was happy to see that the liners were removable for washing or if you'd just like to wear the shoes without it. But I have two issues with the shoes. First (and most important), the liner is difficult to remove and WAY more difficult to replace. The edges of the rivets are sharp and make it downright painful to get the liner back on. Second, I think they could offer more color choices.

Sales of semiconductors in November indicate that consumer products such as LCD (liquid crystal display) TVs, digital music players, and other devices sold well during the holidays, the Semiconductor Industry Association (SIA) said Monday.

November chip sales rose 2.3 percent year-on-year to $23.1 billion, the SIA said.

Unit demand has far outpaced last year. But falling chip prices have hurt industry revenue, the chip association said. For example, DRAM (dynamic RAM) bit shipments grew 25 percent in the three months through mid-December, but average selling prices have declined 20 percent over the same period.

The association also noted that rising energy prices and concerns about the sub-prime lending issue in the U.S. do not appear to have had a significant impact on consumer spending for the holidays, the SIA said. The group reiterated its forecast that worldwide semiconductor sales will reach a new record in 2007. But it will take a stronger than expected December selling season to reach the 3.8 percent growth goal the group had forecast earlier this year, the SIA said.

Investment banking firm Credit Suisse was not as optimistic as the SIA.

The November data was below normal seasonal trends, noted analyst John Pitzer, in a report on Monday. Even if December reaches its normal seasonal growth, 2007 industry revenue will only reach $255.7 billion, up 3.2 percent over last year. The growth percentage would fall short of the SIA's 3.8 percent target.

The slow November prompted Credit Suisse to lower its 2008 chip industry revenue forecast to 9.4 percent year-on-year growth, down from a previous target of 13 percent.
