I was thrilled to get the package in the mail ... But not so thrilled when I discovered it's not exactly what's advertised.

The ACTUAL equalizer has a silver "brushed" plate facia. Not BLACK, which is what I wanted.

And the color of the lighting is not purple .. but blue. I thought the purple was much more novel than the blue .. but .. oh well!

At just 30 bucks .. I'm not going to go through all the trouble to return it, .. blah, blah .... I'm going to stick with it for now .. Even though it's not going to match the rest of the dash equipment color.

I don't exactly recommend "flashy" colors with would-be thieves who will notice it more (than black).

I'm sure once I get it all connected .. I'm sure I'll be happy with the performance .. But had I known this model has a silver face .. I wouldn't have purchased it.
