Nice GPS
I found creating a playlist for music a hassle. You would have to use a music program to create it, but takes steps to create it and transfer to the Garmin. Why doesn't Garmin give free user-friendly music program specifically for their device? I like using spiral frog and it won't allow you to transfer to the Garmin device. Spiral frog limits devices that will transfer their music to brand devices (Garmin is not one of them). The MSN Direct Receiver worked once and after that it died. It would only show traffic info. ONLY and antenna stopped working for all other contents. I had to return it to Garmin Corp. and ship for $8 to receive a new one from them. So basically it was an additional cost for that receiver. Overall a nice device for my husband (he's not into gadgets, but I think this might be helpful for him somewhere/sometime). I have the Nuvi 760 that works w/ MSN fine.

good but not perfect
This is a good product but not flawless. I think every gps system out there has some flaws but this is no exception.
First I would like to thank Amazon for getting this product to me within 2 days. Very fast. Now I know why I do business with this company.
Anyways, There are alot of plus's on this unit and very small negatives. The screen is bright, and the maps, to some extent are accurate. The speech is able to be understood completely and there is no doubt where exactly where to go. the points of interests are good. For those who complained they couldn't find a staples...If you're on a trip do you really need to know where Staples is? If anything i would be focused on finding smaller businesses or a Walmart, if i am on a trip. Which this unit did really well.
Now the negatives.
I don't have MSN service in Utica. I would have to live in the next big city (Syracuse or Albany) to get any use out of this feature.
This unit has a VERY NASTY habit of telling you to turn when you're right on the turn. It doesn't give you a warning. If there is a feature on that that allows it to give you a warning someone please tell me where to find it. because i couldn't.
The attachment to put it on the windshield didn't fit. I seen this as a complaint on most reviews. I didn't find it much of a big deal and let Garmin know. I sent them an email and they were like yeah it will fit you just gotta push harder. What do they want? a possibility to break the thing?? I was pushing hard as it was. I was forced to go buy a new one for 18 bucks, which did fit....hmmm... Great Customer service. <

And the only other thing thing that was wrong with it is sometimes (not all) it would send me to turn on a street that didn't exist. I was told that another friend of mine who had a Navigon did the same thing with in same spot. So it just might be the maps themselves if the same thing happened on a different system.
Overall, the more I use it i do like the Garmin. But i am NOT a fan of the C.S. nor am I fan of MSN. So if you could deal with that i would suggest this unit hands down. If you absolutely must have msn or if your a frequent caller (or emailer) like myself for CS i would find another company to go to.

- Works well
Works well for directions and blue tooth speaker phone. Recently Garmin has discontinued this item. Not sure what the effect on support will be?

- 150$ Well worth Every Penny!
Now at the low cost of 150$ which includes the latest map update from Garmin, free downloadable extras from Garmin's website when you register. Anti-theft protection, MP3 Player, Text to speech, a free year of MSN Direct service (Which has provided accurate movie listings and traffic information, gas prices can sometimes be outdated)as well as accurate directions.
My few slight gripes-
POI database is not as updated and complete as I'd like it to be, but you can save many custom locations in your favorite file
One way streets, I live in Milwaukee, a medium sized city, so you'd think the information in the newest downloadable maps would be updated and complete, not the case! Often when I'm downtown the unit tells me to turn the wrong way on a one way street. I know this is njot necessarily Garmin's fault, but the map software company's, however if Garmin uses them they should ensure they are getting the most up-dated and accurate maps.
Overall for the low price an amazing unit!

- At the Bargain Price, Too Good to Pass Up!
I'll make this review short and to the point. This device works extremely well. I bought it for my girlfriend who recently moved to downtown Philadelphia, and it has yet to give her bogus or misguided directions. If you are in an unfamiliar area, you will thank yourself for buying the item. (I can't speak to its capabilities/accuracy outside of a large metropolitan area, though!) The touch screen is bright and works well. A free year of MSN Direct is icing on the cake.
Here are the cons: It doesn't come with an AC adapter (sold separately), so it can only be charged with the included car adapter, which is just annoying. It is a little "chunkier" than the other Garmin navigators, so you can't carry it in your pocket. Occassionally, it takes a few extra moments to locate the satellites.
All in all, a worthy and recommended purchase.
