I felt guilty for not reviewing it.
I don't review a lot of items but I felt guilty for not giving a short review on this gps because I love using it so much. I bought it because I was going to be moving to another major city soon but postponed it for one year. But I still get so much use out of it in my hometown. Anyway, here are a few reasons why I love it and why you should consider purchasing it.
-It gives routes that I hadn't thought of before.
-It estimates how long it will take to get there (so I know when to speed up or when it's OK to slow down without risking being late).
-For text-to-speech, I use the English speaker with the British accent to make receiving directions sound cooler. (Kind of like KIT from Knight Rider -- if you remember the show).
-If you venture away from your route, it automatically re-calculates a new route for you instantly.
-Because it has practically every business address/ph # in its memory, I can call ahead to order food from my favorite restaurant without having to remember the number myself. ***This feature is also a good safety tool because if you're in trouble on the road, you'll always have the number and location of the nearest police station, hospital, etc.***
-I love the mp3 player. The speakers are really powerful for its size.
My only complaint is that I wish it had a notepad on it but hey, it's a gps -- it's not really supposed to have one. It would just be nice to conveniently jot down things when I visit new places.

Reasonable price...
I bought this GPS 8 weeks ago and used it to travel to Massachusetts (Boston), New Hampshire (White mountains & lake Winnipisauke) and Maine (portland). The price is reasonable and functionality is fairly good. I had a few problems locating the restaurants specially in New Hampshire, I have not checked the version of the software but I guess it is not the latest.

Garmin 350 nuvi
This product had everything I was looking for in a GPS system and more. The price was great for all the features included. I drive a delivery truck for a living and it helped me make my deliveries quicker and with much less stress trying to find places using customer's directions. Many companies and public buildings addresses come up automatically when you type in the name. Great time saver and well worth the money.

This item is the best item I have ever gotten. Easy to use works excellent.

useful travel gadget
The nuvi 350 will get you where you want to be. no problem. Its features allow you go type in a city and find all types of entertainment, gas, food, and lodging. This GPS system has excellent display quality and responsive touch screen. it allows for detours and will make an alternate route automatically. for the price you really cant beat this GPS. Only drawback for me is the dashboard mount it comes with, the glue doesn't do well in heat and will slide off from time to time, not worth deducting a star however. i just had to move the mount to a better spot.
Also, if you are looking to use this on a motorcycle it may be better to get a handheld one that is tougher and weather resistant. i hear gamin makes good ones for two-wheelers.
