Editorial Review:

Product Description:
Optical Digital Interface Cable provides superior accuracy for signal trasfer of digital information from component to component. This cable is an excellent complement to your component entertainment system. Better definition and true clarity. It is specifically engineered for a digital signal data transfer. For highest quality signal transfer in digital components using Toslink optical to Toslink optical connections. The optical signal offers more digital information at higher speed and only a cable manufactured with glass fiber will provide this extra data. Because the information is converted into light impulses that are sent over the fiber optic cable, the signal is immune from RF or magnetic interference. Fiber optic Toslink connections are used on high-end stereo equipment and often seen on MiniDisc players & recorders. Can be used for high quality signals found in: CD, DVD players, VCD, LD, DTS & Dolby Digital Audio Receivers, MD, Digital Audio PC, Divx, DAC, Digital Satellite, Digital Receivers.

Customer Reviews
Average Rating: out of 5 stars

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Great cable, great price.
Works as advertised. The bits go in one end and come out the other. The sound is awesome.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Best of the Best
I got three of these cables. One for my 360, my Samsung surround sound, and the other for my dish dvr. No quality lost what-so-ever, and there cheap as hell. Why spend $15 and over when these ones work fine?

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Just fine!
Hey, who knew that such an inexpensive option would work just as well as the ones costing 50x more. I can't give you any engineering specs, or judge for the longevity of the item, but it was inexpensive, I plugged it in and it works. Before, no digital sound from my satellite. Now, digital sound. So I'm happy!

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Perfect on my system
This cable has worked great for me. I use it to connect my HDTV to my stereo and my Playstation 2 to my stereo. Previously, I've always used coaxial digital audio (DVR to stereo and CD player to stereo). The TV and PS2 don't support coaxial, only optical, so I had to go with this cable.

The cable works perfectly. Much, much better than the far pricier alternative. I've had no issues. Since you're moving digital, quality of the cable is irrelevant. So long as the light can make it, you're good to go. Optical is superior to coaxial here, because there's no potential for RFI/magnetic interference, so the quality of the cable is even less relevant.

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Cheap but works
Picked it up for .99 on here which is great but shipping was nearly $5. The cable itself is pretty cheap. Its thin, lightweight, and the connectors are weak. Still, it works.
