Editorial Review:

Product Description:
This compact and durable test box checks continuity in electrical weapons and helps you locate bad connections in body cords. With the addition of shims, a test weight and a body cord, you can perform a complete pre-check of weapons before stepping out on the strip or give them the final vetting after repairs. The small read-out lights AND SOUNDS transmitting the information of continuity or failure are protected by plastic casing and the entire round unit is toughly constructed to survive the jostling of living in a fencing bag. It comes with a battery that lasts for hundreds of hours of use, a common 9 volt type that can be easily removed and replaced.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Great for the price, but...
For $10, this is a great testing box. However, it has a couple of annoyances:

1. The buzzer is *really* loud. I had to tape over the "speaker" (a small hole in the case) to make it tolerable.
2. There is no way to switch it off without unplugging the battery, and that is not easy. You have to pry off the back panel, and there is no good place to start; it's just one solid wall of plastic. It takes some effort to do.

Once you get around these issues, it works great.
