Delay the Disease
Great book. Exercises all have pictures clearly showing what to do and there are 3 levels of difficulty so people can use this at different stages of the disease. Organized my workout.

Delay the Disease is user-friendly for the PD patient
Parkinson's patients who buy David Zid's exercise book will have no excuse for skipping a workout regardless of where they happen to be. Nearly two dozen routines can be performed while seated-even in tight spaces like an airplane. Doing the Spider on a Mirror(fingertips of opposite hands touching, then releasing a pair at a time)might draw curious glances from other passengers, but they'll likely decide you're just a nervous flier praying for a smooth ride. Unlike other exercise books, routines covered in Delay the Disease don't call for investment in specialized equipment. Stand behind a chair and hold it while you work the knees and legs. A kitchen counter provides support for balance training. The book's design makes Delay the Disease user friendly. Each exercise is illustrated with as many as four pictures in color on heavy paper. Spiral binding makes it easy to hold the book open to the appropriate page. ~Tom P., PD exercise class participant

Better Quality of Life
Excellent instructional book. I was diagnosed in early 2004 with PD and frankly did not have much to look forward to. David and his instructional book changed all of that! I now sit-to-stand and walk with ease. My balance has improved and I even dance again! Friends that knew me before Delay the Disease can't believe the improvement and new acquanitances are are shocked to learn that I have PD! The book has easy to use instructions (with corresponding pictures!) and is seperated into three levels of difficulty. Anyone (at any stage) of PD should try this book! It will improve your quality of life. It did for me!
