Rating: - Blunt warnings!
`America, Israel, and Islam' is a take-no-prisoners history of the Jews in light of the Bible, the Arabs, the Catholic Church, the Palestinians, and the U.N. Dave Hunt, the narrator, did a very good job of putting today's news in perspective of the last 2000 years, and for clearly defining what Islam is all about. I liked the presentation of the overall history that links all this together.

I was surprised with how blunt the tape was in its criticism of Islam as a religion of violence against all non-submitting non-Muslims, per clear and very pointed evidence from the Koran and Hadith (the life and sayings of the Prophet Mohammed), and from history itself. It also surprised me how critical (and I believe rightfully so) Dave Hunt was of the history of the Catholic Church for its persecution of the Jews during the Crusades and the Inquisition, and its uncomfortably cozy association with the Jew-hating Nazis before and during WWII. The tape also criticizes the UN for consistently favoring the Muslims over the Jews in their land disputes, presumably (per the tape) because of Western oil interests in Arab countries. An interesting fact is that the Palestinian refugees in 1948 were those who were told to leave Israel by the Arabs so that the Arabs could totally destroy Israel without killing Muslims; the Jews have always been blamed for kicking out the refugees.

A pretty good history was given of the Zionist movement, from the Diaspora of the Bible to the founding of modern Israel in 1948. The narrator used plenty of scriptural references along with some great file footage. It dispels the notion that the Palestinians should have the land because of longevity, since the original Palestinians were really the Jews who were given that moniker by the occupying Philistines of the 3rd Century. PLO leader Yasser Arafat, although embraced by the Catholic Church and given the Nobel Prize for Peace, is called the biggest terrorist since the re-establishment of Israel.

Being an au-millennialist, I was less enthralled with the very literal, dispensationalist end-time scenarios, in which verses are taken from Daniel, Matthew 24, Revelation and other places to describe the return of Christ, Armageddon, the anti-Christ, and so-forth. But that was no big deal since it only took up a little bit of the tape near the end. The main focus of the tape was what is happening now in light of the past.

Classic 911 footage is shown near the end of the tape to illustrate Muslim hatred of America, for its friendship with Israel.

The startling main point of the tape is the clear mandate of the Muslim holy books: death to those who WILL NOT SUBMIT to Allah from those who DO SUBMIT to Allah.

I have been given a lot of one-sided information about the conflict between Israel and Arab, and the Catholic Church. This video helped me a lot to see the fact from another side. With my own research on the matter, I find more consistency in this video with the facts than in different opinions. This is also sold as "Israel Islam and Armageddon: The Final Battle for Jerusalem"

I bought both a copy of this video and a video titled gIsrael, Islam and Armageddon.h They are same as the package says, galso sold as Israel, Islam and Armageddon.h It is a very informative video with explanations of biblical prophecies from a biblical perspective. Until recently, I have been given one-sided information but this video gives another viewpoint to examine the facts.

Rating: - Informative, BUT biased as all get go!
I admire the video for its information that is not typically available to the public, BUT it is clearly NOT an unbiased presentation of the conflict.

Personally, I feel that the only way to truly understand the Middle Eastern conflict is to understand its history . . . from ALL sides! Unfortunately, too many videos and dvds out there are either TOO pro-Palestinian or TOO pro-Israeli, and this video is no exception. I mean, as soon as the narrator begins spouting off "this land belongs to these people as promised by God," and you consider that BOTH sides of the party are making this exact same claim, then you know you're not going to get an unbiased argument. You're just going to get one more person who is expressing his view that "he's right and the other side is wrong."

I am still waiting for an unbiased, as objective as possible video/dvd presentation of the Middle East. Does anyone know of one? Because, certainly, this is NOT it.

Rating: - Surprised by the events of September 11, 2001?
You shouldn't have been ... especially if you had viewed this video previously ... the author takes the viewer through the Bible prophecies which shout to the world that Armageddon will result from the impossible Middle East situation ... Jerusalem will be the unsolvable problem of the Last Days ... don't believe it? ... get this video and then read the daily headlines in your newspaper and on TV ...

During the 9/11 attack there was widespread cheering and dancing in the streets of many countries ... America's enemies were not only NOT saddened by the events of 9/11/2001, they were ECSTATIC ... If you don't understand all the attacks on innocent Israelis and how that inevitably led to attacks on innocent Americans who were busy working at their desks, taking flights and supporting their families on the morning of September 11, get this video ... and yes, the quotes from the Koran are accurately rendered in the film ... check any online Koran if you believe otherwise ... see Quran 2:191, 9:123, 9:5, 8:65, 9:29, 3:85, 5:11, 9:28, 2:193, 47:4, 8:12 and ESPECIALLY 5:51 and 9:30. The "72 virgins" thing isn't in the Koran but Dave Hunt only notes that it is preached. He *never* says it is in the Koran. Another important video is "Sudan: The Hidden Holocaust". Similar events are occurring in Burkina Faso and Togo. On September 11, 2002 Osama bin Laden was celebrated in London, England if you can believe it (source: Yahoo! News at Yahoo.Com "Warm words for bin Laden ...").

NOTE: this video was originally released in August, 2001 as "Israel, Islam and Armageddon" ... after 9/11, the footage was updated with the WTC attack and re-released in October, 2001 ... the video is currently distributed under the two names.
