Don't waste your time or money on this product
I bought two Creative Zen in past three years. I used both item very lightly, since I also own a Ipod. I really liked Zen's recording capability and built in radio, so I bought my first Zen, which died on me after few months of light use. After first Zen's melfunction, I gave it a benefit of doubt and bought another. I must used it about 10 times and it started to get stuck at one area, not responding no matter what buttons I pushed. Only way out was pushing the rest button then one day it stopped powering up completely. I had the last Zen for three months. Please don't waste your time and energy on this product.

Linda's Creative Zen review
This is my first MP3 player. My son helped me choose it. I love the compactness of it...but for me in my fifties...I want bright clear words, the Zen has it. The quality of sound is beautiful. I have downloaded books for airtravel...was easy to operate. Got a arm band to wear for exercise and while I agree with others that it is not easy to select/deselect music through the "Skin", I believe the problem is more its location on your arm.
At this time I have no complaints....well maybe one ...and again it may be b/c i am a novice. I find it difficult to adjust the volume....I feel like I have to select too many options to get there. I wish there was a separate selection for volume.
I look forward to exploring all this Zen has to offer.

IT Continues To Baffle ME!!!!......
....how consumers continue to fall for these "HIGH Priced" disposable players..People,,the batteries are built in,,so,,your player depends on the LIFE of the battery(1 and a half to two years of recharges if you get a good one)..Apple started this money making trend and other companies jumped on the money wagon..I can't beleive people buy these and put lots of songs and info on them..This item is no diff than a disposable cammera from your local drug store...GIVE US CONSUMERS THE CHOICE TO BUY & CHANGE OUT OUR OWN LIT ION BATTERIES since the player itself will easily last beyond 7 years.I'll keep my sandisk "AAA Batery Player" from 2004 and my Archos 400 media player from 2005 with REPLACABLE LITH BATTERYs until companies decide to stop shoving disposable players out on the market ..Wake up people....Peace

LOSSLESS FANS BEWARE!
Great job, Amazon! It says in your description this supports wma9 which is all it supports of wmas. I bought one (elsewhere) because it claimed to support .wma's and it said so on it's packaging as well. However, it does NOT support WMA LOSSLESS (nor mac lossless, I'm pretty sure), so if you have a huge lossless music collection as do I, you won't be able to use this product. The fact Creative Zen tried (poorly) to defend themselves when I contacted them about this, motivated me to send it back. Otherwise, it's a pretty good player, but that was enough to swear off this brand for me.

Zen Interface not Compatible w/ Vista!
This is my second zen that I have purchased. The first went off without a hitch until I got a new laptop w/ windows vista. Creative does not yet make a program to interface with Vista - BAD ON THEM!!
