For those who need to know "why"
This is an excellent book for those who need to know why we should not eat certain foods. It is a convincing argument for healthful eating without making one feel you are on the D word.

The book by Dr. Oz, "You on a Diet" was a real eye-opener! Lots of very good and timely advice AND explanations for the advice as well.

Basic Information, Amazing Results!
I purchased this book 7 weeks and 22 1/2 pounds ago! It does say many things that are pretty basic for a weight loss book (exercise, eat your veggies, etc.). The thing that worked so well for me was that it explained exactly WHY these things are good for your body and what happens when you don't do them. I haven't much followed the menu planner, just stuck to the guidelines of lean meats (mostly chicken and fish), fruits and veggies, low fat dairy, and whole grains. This combined with walking at least 30 minutes a day has transformed my body! I feel fantastic! If you are still on the fence check out their website www.realage.com for more details.

I love the way the information is presented, it really drives home the importance of feeding your body the right stuff. It also inspires you to work hard at taking care of yourself both by what you eat and the importance of exercise and being still and relieving stress.
