Amazon.com Product Description:
Take your favorite tunes on the road or to the park with this portable CD boombox. Sporting a unique, rounded chassis with red highlights that's way more fashionable than standard boxy models, the CX-CD241 is an ideal choice for music fans who want a little extra style with their sounds. Fortunately for listeners, the cool shape doesn't detract from the music, as the CD player still includes all the basics and a few extras. Among the features are standard skip, search, and repeat one and all functions, along with programmable track memory for listeners who want to create a custom soundtrack. When the CDs are played out, listeners can turn to the AM/FM tuner for a less-structured playlist.

The CX-CD241 owes its audio performance to its 1-bit digital-to-analog converter, which ensures a clean CD sound, and its pair of wide-ranging side speakers. Rounding out the feature set is a digital two-digit LED display, a telescoping FM antenna, and a flip-up carrying handle. The unit runs on either AC power or six C-size batteries (not included) and measures a compact 8.25 by 5.5 by 8.5 inches (W x H x D). And as with all Coby audio products, the CX-CD241 is backed by a 90-day warranty.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - very good for children
this cd player was very easy to use and was very durable i gave it to my 10 year old daughter who loves it

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - cd recorder
The service was excellent and this inexpensive Colby unit is wonderful and fairly rugged. Good sound and design..

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Terrible sound on the radio!
Very disappointing sound quality. It is difficult to tune the radio, and many stations barely come in. But, at least it looks good- oh wait thats not the most important quality in a radio! Its cute and compact and cd's plat clearly.

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - Not loud enough for use in a crowd.
This product works well for personal use. I have tried to use it with a crowd of preschoolers and it is just not loud enough to overcome the noise they make. Other players I have used work better.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Withstands toddler abuse
We have this CD player in our kitchen so that my toddler and I can enjoy his favorite tunes while I'm making dinner or whatnot. He climbs onto the counter and gives this stereo such abuse, and touches all the parts you're never supposed to touch on a CD player, and yet it still works perfectly! I'm really impressed by this machine. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that is does make a quiet electronic "hum" when it's plugged in. It doesn't interfere with the quality of the music at all. But if you're in the room and all else is quiet, you'll notice it. For this reason, we keep it unplugged when we're not playing a CD. Otherwise this CD player is great!

Usually we're fans of Logitech's gaming mice, but its highest-end G9 Laser Mouse is expensive, overly complex, and lacks the ergonomic thought we've come to expect. If you like to brag about dot-per-inch limits, perhaps the G9's 3,200dpi laser will be enough to sell you, but for the price, we expect the design to match.

Small and light enough for a shirt pocket, Samsung's Helix YX-M1 is a one-stop audio entertainment center with an XM radio, a digital music player, and room for 50 hours of tunes, but it comes up short on battery life.
