Rating: - detector review
very good product for what it does. Registers a lot of unrelated foreign signals as well radar/laser. I wish it detected signals sooner. Be warned that as with all detectors this detects without any promises. The better protection against speeding citations is to slow down

Rating: - Great Radar Detector with Lots of Extras
I got this after Christmas and it has worked really well so far. I have owned at least 2 other Cobra Radar Detectors in the past and they have all lasted a long time and I have been satisfied with them all.

Although I did get a great deal on this one from 6th Ave Electronics, it was still a little pricey because it has a lot of extras like a Digital Compass, DataGrafix Color Display, Battery Condition Readings, Intellimute, etc.

You can get a lower priced Cobra model w/o all the extras and I'm sure that it would perform it's basic functions just as well, but this one is really neat. I have only been using it for about a week, but it has already helped me avoid a speed trap.

I would probably rate it even higher after I've had it for a while if my past experience is any indicator. Cobra Radar Detectors aren't necessarily rated the highest by the techno crowd, but I've tried others and always go back to using the Cobra. This one is the coolest one yet.
