The winner of several industry awards, including the Editor's Choice blue ribbon from Baby Talk, each Twilight Turtle is individually hand painted for a unique, artful look that complements any nursery or children's room. Plush and soft, with a sturdy plastic shell, this nightlight is best placed on the floor in the center of the room, where it projects a starry night sky onto the ceiling and walls. For interactive fun, parents can also sit with their children and identify and describe the features of eight major constellations, including the Big Dipper and the Big Bear, with the help of the beautifully illustrated Star Guide. The Twilight Turtle also includes a warm-hearted story about how Twilight Turtle, separated from his father, uses the constellations to find his way home.
User-Friendly Operation
Simply pressing the button on the turtle's shell ignites the stars and keeps them glowing for a full 45 minutes--just enough time for most children to drift into sleep. At this point, the Twilight Turtle automatically shuts off to preserve battery life. Another push of the button reactivates the projection. In addition, the easy selection of the three soothing color choices allows your child not only to learn to identify different colors, but also to truly experience them as well. Amber radiates warmth and peace; green creates a healing and renewing atmosphere; and blue helps calm the senses. The soft, illuminating glow the Twilight Turtle emits also serves as a nightlight that makes the darkness less frightening.

A great gift for children who are afraid of the dark, or even adults who have trouble falling asleep, the Twilight Turtle runs on three 'AAA' batteries (included). It also comes with a certification of adoption, and measures a compact 14.0 x 5.0 inches (WxH), so it's easy to display and store.

- Awesome Nightlight Option for the nurseryI love this product and so does my 3 month old. He does better at night with a light on and this gives enought light to do the job. I love the stars and moon on the ceiling and think he does too

- Wonderful gift I have a 4 yr old who adores this item. he can turn it on if he wakes up during the night for comfort. It also shuts itself off in 30 minutes. I recently gave this as a gift to a 3 yr old and he would not put it down. It makes him look forward to bedtime. I would gladly recommend this to anyone.

- Good TurtleTurtle is Great for the kids, just a little cheaper quality than I expected for the price. Plastic shell is kinda flimsy. Lights work well, and have two modes.

- Great Nightlight Our 3.5 year old figured out how to work it right away. It worked great to help get him to bed and I don't see that wearing off. He is facinated with figuring out the constellations (they give you a great book to help you figure out and find them). My only concern in reading other reviews was how would it work on his night stand (so that he could operate it during the night). It is fine there. Not great for viewing the constellations since they go from the ceiling to the walls but if we wanted to really identify the constellations we can simply move it to a different location for doing this. It is absolutly awsome! Also, you could easily transport it on trips and both my husband and I agreed that its soft light is actually soothing to us also and would not be a problem even if we were to be sharing a room with him.

- Starlight TurtleThis is such a fun item. My 7 year old still puts in on every night. It is very soothing. I think when my kids are tired of it I will take it and use it. I love it so much I am giving it away as a gift this Christmas.
