Amazing book
The author of this book has compiled his vast knowledge of asthma and how to manage and cure the condition in this amazing work.
I used only the techniques in this book to reverse my over breathing, constant coughing, and shortness of breath. My condition came on at age 40 with non stop coughing and shortness of breath. I could not complete a 3 second breath hold when I started. Over a 6 month period of following the program outlined in this book, my condition has vastly improved. The book is written in clear and concise language. The exercises are fairly easy to learn. The author is incredibly generous with his time if you do have a question. It takes some time and effort but once the primary technique is learned, it is easy to incorporate into one's routine. The author has given a gift to all people suffering from asthma and asthma type symptoms by writing this book.

Medical Information, Suggestions
Hmmmmm - despite the fact that there is a thread of truth regarding the efficacy of this better breathing concept, the process itself seems curious, at least with respect to several techniques described in the book. Still - if it works for some its a good thing.

"Druid knowledge"
This book is a splendid example of a 'knowledge-giver.' The information is so easily formatted, and the words so simple, that anyone can read it and take in the advice as something second nature. After reading and applying the suggestions in this book, proper breathing during exercise, stress, and other circumstances can lead to an ease not experienced before. I am a cross trainer, and when I was young I couldn't breathe properly so everyone told me I had asthma. Asthma may exist as a medical problem, but its also a state of mind. The ability to control our bodies is underestimated. This book is nature in words.

It's a mini "Asthma Free Naturally"
"Close Your Mouth" is a more concise version of "Asthma-Free Naturally" also by Patrick McKeown, with much repeated information. There's less information in "Close Your Mouth", but it's easier to read, and has a better quality cover while still providing enough information to learn the Buteyko exercises.
Both books are highly recommended although I'd recommend buying one or the other, both aren't necessary. If you want more information get "Asthma-Free Naturally", if you're more interested in simply learning the exercises, "Close Your Mouth" will be enough.

A best seller in its own right
This book is bound to become a best seller. The information is superb. Easily legible, understandable and supported by over forty years of research. I recently viewed the trials of Buteyko breathing for asthma- these results should be made more available.
Read this book for your health. I guarantee that you will be satisfied by the message therein.
