In A Change of Seasons, Christy returns to Cutter Gap with her adult daughter, Catherine, and narrates an episode in her life as a young schoolteacher. The story picks up where the PAX production, Return to Cutter Gap, left off. In this recollection, typhoid sweeps the region, and Christy's faith is tested when her best friend succumbs to the disease. Christy (Lauren Lee Smith), Alice (Diane Ladd), Dr. MacNeill (Stewart Finlay-McLennan), and David (James Waterston), the local preacher, do what they can to save the rest of the inflicted, but they can only do so much. Towards the end, Christy gets engaged to one of the men, but then he contracts the disease. Fortunately, he recovers, but things end on an ambiguous note as Christy appears to have lost the friendship of the man whose affections she spurned. This dilemma will be resolved in A New Beginning. Ages 8 and older. --Kathleen C. Fennessy

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Christy Change of Seasons
The Movies summed up the tv series, but missed the original actors. They seemed to leave out a little of the original charm and did not think the sets were as beautiful as the tv series either but I enjoyed them any way.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - great movie!
this dvd was exactly what I was looking for. It played great! I recommend it to everyone.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Can't Get Enough Christy
Continues in the Christy Tradition. Just good stories and great watching! I miss the original actors but this one is good!

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - i guess if it's for the sake of finishing the story...
i'll give it props for picking up the shattered pieces of christy fan's hearts everywhere...but--this was awful...k...the original christy (and by original--i mean original tv series) was supposed to be all tiny and uncommon pretty...this chick is eye to eye with david...who--i might add--looks a lot like piglet and he makes the most awful facial expressions...i.e. in a cave with dr. ferrand (i think in the 3rd of this series)..anyway--i appreciate everyone who was in the original cast who came out...that was awesome...i'm sorry to the other actors--they just didn't pull it off...especially christy and miss alice...it's not even filmed on the original location...and what is up with fairlight?!?! she should've played christy...christy should've played fairlight...at best! grrr...why did the tv series end anyways?

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Great movie for the whole family.
Loved this series...it is hard to find wholesome movies to watch. Have shared with my Christian friends and their thrilled with them also.

Alienware's flagship gaming laptop, the Area-51 m9750, has plenty of appeal for high-end gamers, but the alien head aesthetic seems dated, and newer components are right around the corner.
