Good printer great price
After doing some searching and looking at HP, Brother, and a couple of other printer makers, I settled on the Cannon MX700. Lots of function, great price and in a nice sized package. I wanted a single printer that multiple computers in the house could print to easily. The printer was very easy to setup and connect to my home network, now we can print from wherever we are in the house. The speed is good and the print quality is excellent. Would strongly recommend this printer, especially at the Amazon price. Bonus feature, our cat loves it too, he will come racing in to watch it when it starts a print job.

Great usability
This is the first printer I've ever had that I didn't actively hate. I've had HP, Brother, and Canon multi-function printers in the past, and all of them have been horribly difficult to use for even the simplest tasks. On the MX700, though, it seems like they must have done some good usability research, because it's really, really easy. Opening all its various parts is easy and understandable. The keypad makes sense. I use the fax/copy/scan functions relatively infrequently, but I don't need to remember any little tricks or arcane button sequences for any of them. Even better, it's relatively cat-proof! The one time my cat managed to step on an inappropriate button, it took me all of 2 seconds to fix her mistake. Easy.

A Complete Unit!
The Canon MX700 is a multi-functional machine that doesn't take up much office space. The individual color cartridges give me flexibility when printing as I use more blue ink. The ability to scan, fax, and print in either color or b&w makes this unit a great value for my home office needs.

Terrible paper feed
The paper feeder has broken on our printer after 2 months of ownership. Highly NOT recommended.

Great choice
This is the first Canon printer I have tried. I needed to get a printer that could scan and save in PDF format. I'm so pleased with the quality and performance with this printer. It's not the fastest, but plenty adequate. While I didn't buy it to print pictures ( I use my Epson 1800 for that), I tried to print some, and was amazed at the results...very true color and quality was surprising. The price was great and I would certainly recommend this printer!!!
