Rating: - Great sound, problematic reliability
This unit, with the SoundWorks speakers, does sound great. I have it in my office at work, and my co-workers frequently comment on the great sound. The CD player in mine failed within days of the warranty expiration. Rest of the unit still works, and I've patched my portable CD player into the auxiliary input, but it was pretty disappointing to have it fail so quickly. I'd give it five stars on sound, one for reliability, for an average of three.

You need to remember that this unit does not come with its own speakers. I already had the Cambridge Soundworks Microworks speakers and hooked it up to that. This actually sounds better than my home audio system.
