Bob Seger has racked up a lot of worthy tracks over the years, but it took until 1994 for a greatest hits package to appear. Voilà. The bad news: We're missing an awful lot of songs here. Night Moves is Seger's crit-pick album, and a great place to start if you don't have any Seger at all. Next in the rankings is Stranger in Town. Otherwise, his highs are pretty scattered, which would make any best-of package a worthy investment. But if you want to get comprehensive, 'Rock & Roll Never Forgets,' 'Fire Down Below,' 'Horizontal Bop,' 'Her Strut,' 'Betty Lou's Getting Out Tonight,' and 'Katmandu' aren't on this CD--and you'll have to go to the original albums to secure them. --Gavin McNett

- Great CDThe CD is really great. I had this CD in cassette form but I needed a cd since my cassette player quit working. If you are a Bob Seger Fan then this is a must have. It is great to listen too while working out it is mostly upbeat and keeps your energy level up.
If you buy this cd you won't regret it!

- Greatest?This doesn't strike me as a "Greatest Hits" exactly, but is a good studio collection for a great sale price. All in all, it has a nice mellow quality about it, but if you're looking for something with more "adrenaline", go for the live recordings of the "Nine Tonight" cd.

- Moldy OldyAudio quality wasn't up to par with modern CDs. I bought this for a couple of songs but I'm not a big Seger fan overall. I think these songs are best remembered and not purchased. If you must, buy a single from iTunes or something similar and save $10.
