Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Great Case
I love this case.
I have it clipped to my belt all the time.
The magnet keeps it closed and my phone stays on off.

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - Needs Some Engineering Work
The Blackberry Holder looks good and provided for easy retrieval, but as other reviewers had noted the clip is prone to break. In my case it lasted all of 2 weeks before it broke.

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - Great for light use, and people with no love for thier Blackberry
I purchased this holster with the assumption that since it was an official accessory for the blackberry that it would be made to very exacting standards to keep the product line's image up. It did serve it's purpose well for about 2 months but I was carrying a heavy load and the load happened to snag on the holster. The holster itself held up fine, the clip did not. The belt clip assembly is made of plastic, which, for most people would seem to be fine, but given that my blackberry is just a *little* more important than oh, say, my check book, or a standard cell phone, I no longer trust plastic holsters to keep my precious data safe. The belt clip is poorly designed to begin with as it slowly dug into my stomach as I was setting down, requiring me to flip the holster around and have it come from underneath my belt rather than over, further worrying me as there is little to stop the clip from coming off the belt at that point. All in all, a somewhat decent product, but don't get this thinking that your Blackberry will be all that safe being held up by a plastic clip assembly. I opted for the Naztech Gladiator II Canvas Case for PDA's and Smart Phone Devices - Black (Also on Amazon) for my Curve 8330. It has a all stainless steel clip assembly and sturdy nylon construction, granted it's not going to look as sophisticated as this and other holsters, but would you look sophisticated if you were fumbling for your blackberry only to find that it snapped off your belt at that meeting and it's on the pavement somewhere lost? Think about what is more important to you. I'm fortunate enough to have had my Curve fall off and make a loud enough bang on the floor to catch my attention, will you be so lucky?

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Curve Case satisfies the need
I am very pleased with the look and feel of this product. It has performed well. I especially like the feature of the magnetic strip that is incorporated in the case that puts the phone to sleep upon insertion. This saves battery life. Also, while in the holster, any email or text or call automatically vibrates incase you are in a meeting or at a place where you cannot hear the alert. Nice job Blackberry or whoever made it.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Great product
This is a great Blackberry holster and it is an incredible value. I've owned other Blackberry holsters that were not made this well and cost double what this one did.

Sales of semiconductors in November indicate that consumer products such as LCD (liquid crystal display) TVs, digital music players, and other devices sold well during the holidays, the Semiconductor Industry Association (SIA) said Monday.

November chip sales rose 2.3 percent year-on-year to $23.1 billion, the SIA said.

Unit demand has far outpaced last year. But falling chip prices have hurt industry revenue, the chip association said. For example, DRAM (dynamic RAM) bit shipments grew 25 percent in the three months through mid-December, but average selling prices have declined 20 percent over the same period.

The association also noted that rising energy prices and concerns about the sub-prime lending issue in the U.S. do not appear to have had a significant impact on consumer spending for the holidays, the SIA said. The group reiterated its forecast that worldwide semiconductor sales will reach a new record in 2007. But it will take a stronger than expected December selling season to reach the 3.8 percent growth goal the group had forecast earlier this year, the SIA said.

Investment banking firm Credit Suisse was not as optimistic as the SIA.

The November data was below normal seasonal trends, noted analyst John Pitzer, in a report on Monday. Even if December reaches its normal seasonal growth, 2007 industry revenue will only reach $255.7 billion, up 3.2 percent over last year. The growth percentage would fall short of the SIA's 3.8 percent target.

The slow November prompted Credit Suisse to lower its 2008 chip industry revenue forecast to 9.4 percent year-on-year growth, down from a previous target of 13 percent.
