Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Good Product
I bought this product for an office so I would not need to install a hard line. Overall, I am very pleased. I have had some issues with the bluetooth re-connecting to the cellphone after it had been out-of-range for a while. This occurred when the phone was at my home and I was getting used to using it. I have a wifi, separate cordless phone system with 6 handsets and a wireless baby monitor. When this would happen, sometimes I could manually have the phone connect and sometimes I would have to go through the entire bluetooth setup again (which is pretty simple anyways)

Since I have moved the unit to my office (where I only have wifi) I have not had a single issue.

Other than that, it would be nice if the phonebook could sync with the base and handset to save some entry.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Good so far
The only problem I had was figuring out how to enter access codes & pin numbers. I flip back and forth between the main unit and the handset, using the hold button at times to bring up additional numbers in the directory.

I get lots of complaints from people on the other end when I use my wireless headset though. Sounds like they hear everything amplified. Not sure if it's the headset or the phone. (Motorola Bluetooth 700)

Can't get very far from the base unit with the wireless headset. Signal gets lost and reception deteriorates quickly. Can't even go upstairs with the wireless headset (small house).

And to answer with the headset, I usually have to hit the headset button from the base. Can't sent to headset from the handset, only the base. But it seems like a good phone. Will end up using the wired headset more than hoped for, but at least it has a plug in for it AND a belt clip. Started down this path when the belt clip on my last phone broke . . . quite an expensive replacement system for a broken piece of plastic.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - One phone simplifies life
I've really enjoyed the phone, especially the ability to connect to my cell phone to receive and make calls. The price beats anything else with bluetooth by $20-30. And it is pretty durable -- I've knocked the handset to the floor several times while wearing a headset and the call doesn't disconnect and no parts fly off.

Things I don't like (but only caused me to deduct 1-star) are:

- mic quality on speakerphone is bad
- no way to exchange phone books between handset and base or between cell phone and cordless phone
- time keeps changing time zone based on caller id of person who calls (don't understand this but is mentioned in user guide)
- can't use handset when phone is charging (disconnects call so you have to make sure you pick up on the base before dropping the handset in the charger)

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Big Help To Bad Reception
I bought this phone because I couldn't get very good reception living in a dead spot, so i was having a land line put in. Every time I'd talk to anyone it was annoying that I couldnt hear them half the time and vice versa. Now I dont think I even need a land line. I can just set the cellphone down where I'm getting a decent signal and pick up the cordless and not have to worry bout the phone cutting in and out from moving around. This is exactly what I needed. Awesome product!

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Terrible Answering System
I had to replace my old Uniden 2.4G phone mostly because the headset plugs began to fail. I use a headset most of the time when contacting my customers so I can still have both hands available for typing. While lots of new cordless phones allow you to connect your Bluetooth enabled cell phone to it, this AT&T phone is the only phone I could find that allowed me to connect a Bluetooth HEADSET to it. That, in a nutshell, is the primary reason I purchased this phone. Most new phones also come with a built in answering system, as does this one. Unfortunately the answering system in this phone is of such poor quality that both the outgoing and the incoming messages are almost unintelligible. Fortunately I have a Lucent Technologies stand alone digital answering system that is of exceptional quality. I have turned off the AT&T phone answering system and plan never to use it again.
