Cute But Junk
This is supposed to be a 4GB player, and it shows up on my computer as 4 GB, yet it will hold only 1.5 GB before refusing to accept any more files, claiming "no room left on device". Also, the file browser for selecting media files is the absolute worst thing I have ever seen, it takes forever to locate a file. There is no playlist support of any kind, so unless you just want to hear all your mp3s (or 1.5 GB of them, anyway) with no control over the order they play in, it's a real hassle.
I cannot play videos on this either, as the included software for converting video to the required format (.amv) doesn't work. Naturally, I assumed since this is *called* an mp4 player, I would play mp4 files on it. Nope. It doesn't do that either. I was looking forward to the ebook capability, but again, this was a vain hope -- it reads only text files. If you have any good books in text file format, great, you're all set! Of course, no one does... Text files are pretty much never used for ebooks.
There are just two good things I can say about this player: It's cute, and the screen does a good job rendering photos with decent resolution and surprisingly good contrast. Unfortunately, I did not buy it to look at photos, but for playing music and video.
Well, at least it does actually play music, if rather inflexibly.
Next time I will buy a decent brand name player, maybe Phillips or Sandisk. This was my first and last no-name player. My little $30 reminder that "you get what you pay for". But to not even get the 4 GB of storage advertised is pretty darn low.

nice but wasn't what i was expecting
what really bothers me about this product is that the menu makes a loud click when you push on it. second it is hard to get from place to place with it. i always have to turn it off if i wanted to go to the games from music. also i was hoping there would be a scroll wheel like an ipod but it turns out there is none. which is the reason i bought this one. i saw other cheaper ones but i could tell you had to push buttons i still dont know what the middle button does. menu could be of better quality
the good things are the mp4 player has all the functions and looks of an ipod at a cheaper price. it can dock with ipod products which i like alot.and doesn't take long to figure out how to use it.(speaking of that they could make a better set of instructions)

well worth it
I bought this a few months ago and i havent had a problem with it yet. it has amazing video and picture quality, and plays music well. it looks just like the new ipod and does much more. it is difficult to figure out at first. its controls are not like the ipod but once you figure it out its fine. the instruction manual is no help at all so just contact the seller and they can help. :)

Please Help
This MP3/MP4 player looks really good, like it can do as much if not more than an iPod for a much smaller price. But I want to know if it works with Rhapsody for music? How do I find out?
